A: Setting up your 2-week FREE no obligation trial is simple. First you need to register and as soon as we receive your details one of our team will call you to explain the process and set-up your trial account. We'll confirm when we're ready to go live (usually within a few hours of receiving your registration) and run through with you how to divert your calls and start using your Gold Tel service.
Q: Will you answer all my calls or can I choose to answer some myself?
A: Gold Tel's call handling service is fully flexible to your needs. You're in control of when we answer your calls. You can divert all your calls to us when you or your staff are busy or out of the office, or we can pick up calls when your lines are engaged or the call is not answered within a certain number of rings.
Q: How do I divert my phones to you?
A: When you become a client of Gold Tel, we allocate you a dedicated phone line for your business. When you require your calls to be answered, you divert your phone to the number provided. Your calls will then be answered by your Gold Tel receptionist with your pre-approved greeting.
Q: Can I just divert to Gold Tel when I'm out the office or unavailable?
A: You can choose exactly when you want to divert your phone lines to us.

A: You can divert unlimited lines to your dedicated phone number (DDI) at any one time. However, if you require more than one incoming line (perhaps you want a separate greeting for your sales department, for example), then you'll need to call us to arrange this additional facility.
Q: Can I divert my mobile to you when I'm not available?
A: Yes, mobiles can be diverted in the same way as landlines. You can choose to divert your mobile to the same line you use for your landlines, or you may prefer to take a separate line for your mobile to allow a more personalised greeting.

A: We aim to answer all calls in less than ten seconds.
Q: When will I receive my messages?
A: Your messages will be sent to you by your preferred method and a summary of the day's messages is sent at the end of every business day. Your Gold Tel receptionist will make sure that your message is logged and sent to you before taking another call.
Q: How will I receive my messages?
A: Your messages are sent to you immediately by the method you choose when setting up your Gold Tel service.
They can be sent by:

You can also update how you receive your messages on a daily basis.
Q: Will my callers know they have not come through to my office?
A: No, your Gold Tel receptionist, if asked, will always advise callers that they have come through to your reception. We never tell callers that their call is being answered by another company. Prior to setting up your service we will agree with you what we should say to callers and tell them someone will call them back. If the caller comes through again before you've returned the call, we'll apologise that you've been busy and we'll pass the message on again.
Q: During what hours of business is my Gold Tel receptionist available?
A: Your Gold Tel receptionist is available between 08.30 - 18.00, Monday to Friday. After hours, your lines will be diverted to voice mail if required. You'll have your own answer machine service with a greeting personalised for your business. Your Gold Tel receptionist checks for voice mails each morning and provides any messages.
Q: Will you charge for wrong numbers or sales calls?
A: No, we will not charge you for any wrong numbers. You can also tell us how you'd like to deal with sales calls - we can either take a message as we would do with any other caller or simply say this number does not accept sales calls. If you choose not to accept sales calls, we will make every effort to identify these calls and you will not be charged.

A: We have flexible service plans available that are suitable for all levels of use. You simply choose from a monthly Gold Tel service plan with the appropriate inclusive calls.
